One of the largest county fairs in North America, Kentropolis provided the Erie County Agricultural Society with its first professional website. It was an uphill battle to create a cohesive online plan between multiple entities and offices within the organization, having to represent the Society, the Fairgrounds, and the yearly event itself. The for-profit entity, Buffalo Raceway, was excluded from the project.
Being one of my earliest projects, the site did its job well but lacked higher end capabilities that I was not ready to provide at that time. The following year, the site was passed to one of their existing corporate sponsors, a major telecommunications company. My wife and I have been members of the ECAS for many of the years since .
