The Professional and Businessmen Association is a fraternal organization that evolved from local Polonia merchant associations.  With roughly half of fellow members being retired or retirement age, I worked uphill with resistance to already common technology and started off with a simple site, updated once or twice per year. 

In 2011, emails were available for a quarter of the membership and a list-serv was set up for function reminders and other communication in between the quarterly print newsletter.

Some clients just know it’s time to do something online, and we were there for them.  Professional photos with clear content made a great, easy-to-use site that eventually integrated with their re-worked Facebook presence and their supplier’s private-label online catalog.  The theme was consistent with the franchise, and are popular local colors reminiscent of the old Buffalo Sabres.

Even with very low local search numbers for thier industry, the AdWords campaign we set up and managed paid for itself, and is available to them as additional revenue whenever they need it.

The owners of the Life Enhancement Center of Coeur d’Alene came to me for help in editing their site.  After walking them through uploading files using FileZilla, the understood what they were looking at for the first time after many months of frustration.  I became their trusted resource for all things Web, and when the time came for a major revision the project was handed to us.

A WordPress blog captured all their old (and revised) content while allowing them to self-manage without the drag of learning more technical knwoledge.  Next on the agenda is hooking it all into social media.

A combination brochure site and showcase, the design had to be as classy as the high-end landscaping Chevalier provides.  It was laid out by Kentropolis discussing the company’s objectives in great detail, with the coding and additional graphics executed by Sarah Bonse of Apsire Technology Solutions.  A JAlbum showcase completes the site.

A precision parts manufacturer in Cheektowaga, New York, Pol-tek is owned by Marcin Ostronski, a fellow member of the Professional & Businessmen Association.  We developed their first website, which was simple and clean, and then upgraded it in 2010 with a sharper design and professional photograpy by our associate, Paul Maze.
