There is no need to learn coding to maintain a website anymore. A CMS (content management system) allows anyone with word processing skills to create web pages and change the content at will.<\/p>\n

WordPress is by far the most used CMS in the world, powering more than Wix, Squarespace, Joomla, Shopify, and Drupal combined, and without being advertised. One-third of the Internet is done using WordPress. It’s basically open-source (non-proprietary), which means you can move your site easily between hosts without starting from scratch (unlike Wix, etc.). It has a user base in the millions who share information and creates countless plugins, adding every functionality you can think of, often for free.<\/p>\n

WordPress.Com is the community where you can get a WordPress site, with free and paid options. We use the same software to provide a custom WordPress install on our own server, without any of the limitations as to themes and plugins.<\/p>\n

It is not a mere graphical theme, but a full framework for you to create your own design, right down to complex, mobile-responsive layouts. We use our unlimited license to create diverse and stunning website designs for our clients.<\/p>\n

Using it adds an extra layer of detail with its own learning curve, but the basics can be learned in one sitting. We help people through that process to save then the time of figuring it out on their own, but for reference, they have documentation with video tutorials<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
