Upon the Square; By the Plumb

Until I became the webmaster of NYMasons.Org, most brothers didn’t even know what I did for a living.

The Lodge is not a place of business networking. But as a member of the Communications Committee of the Grand Lodge of the State of New York, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with many brothers inside and outside the Craft. The connection between my usual occupation and the Fraternity proved an unexpected blessing. But as I find myself devoting more time to this most meaningful of work, I was reminded by leaders in Masonry I should look after my own interests — and that brothers are looking for someone to trust personally AND professionally, someone with a known track record of good work, and doing what they say they will do.

Integrity has been my cornerstone long before I knew I ought to be a Mason (though my wife, who wanted to be in the Order of the Eastern Star, pushed me for years to petition). And I always prefer doing business with people who share my values and give proper attention to ethics in all their dealings. In fact, I expect it.

If there is something I can do for you, your company, or community organization or project, reach out to me. I will take the time to consider your needs, and be honest with you if I’m not a good fit. I’ll even help you find the right match if I can’t help you, or take the time to educate you on what to look for in a provider of Internet-related services. And if I can bring some value that justifies billing an invoice, I’ll be up front about that, too.

I won’t ask you to do business with me over someone else because I’m a Mason. I only request you consider me as a possible solution for your needs.

Sincerely & Fraternally,

Bro. Ken JP Stuczynski
